This month our stores completed a massive 140,000 orders, a huge month in which everyone put in a shift. As a team, we work hard to support each other and overcome challenges, and everyone rose to the task across our stores. Our drivers worked hard to ensure our customers received their orders in good time, our in store teams did what they do best, completing orders quickly and effectively, and our management teams planned and prepared for rush periods and high demand. As a result, we achieved so much and showed what makes Domino’s different.
In addition, stores pulled out all of the stops to add fun and enjoyment to our customer experience. We received so many photos of our stores, decorated for the football and the creativity and effort invested was amazing. This past month has shown what we are capable of when we pull together in the same direction; we absolutely knocked it out of the park. Football may not have come home, but we made sure our customers’ pizzas did.
Looking forward, our next month will be a different challenge as Summer (hopefully) arrives. Many of our staff who have been with us for some time will know how diverse our industry is, and its constantly changing nature. Those who have just joined have had a baptism of fire like no other in the industry, and have seen the level we demand of ourselves, in every aspect of the job.
